Flipped Classroom US History Curriculum

Fully narrated video lessons covering ALL of American History, each with matching guided notes or a graphic organizer

A flipped classroom is where students watch an instructional video at home and do the typical “homework” in class, where you can give them more guidance. It’s a great way to take lectures out of the classroom and save more time for projects, primary source analysis, and other engaging activities. Each video is a fully narrated overview of a topic that explains key concepts, people, terms, and events in ways students can understand.

Included in this download are:

  • Over 45 video lessons covering every major concept in US History
  • Guided notes for every video as editable Word documents and Google Docs
  • Interactive notebook-style graphic organizer options for some lessons
  • Complete teacher answer keys for every set of guided notes
  • A directions page with recommended strategies for using the videos in your classroom

After purchasing, you’ll have access to everything from your dashboard. The videos are available on YouTube, and also on my own site if YouTube is blocked in your school, so you can share every video, set of guided notes, and Google Doc without needing YouTube at all.

These video lessons are perfect for:

  • Flipped classroom lessons at home
  • Catching up absent students
  • Covering a topic when class time is short
  • Sub days
  • Review and test prep

The guided notes match up with each video so students can take brief notes on the key concepts as they watch. All of the lessons are based on state standards and cover exactly what your students need to know. You can preview one of them on the Watergate Scandal here.

Note that the PowerPoint files aren’t included, to keep the cost down. This purchase includes just the videos and the guided notes files.
