As a first year educator, this helped me to save time in trying to develop curriculum from the ground up. I often took the Slides as a base and added to, or altered things as needed for the purposes of my districts benchmarks, or tests. I often supplemented the handouts with group work activities and projects to help make more of it engaging for all of my learners. The handouts helped many to develop reading, responding, and annotating skills that many of them had not picked up in elementary, or had forgotten, due to the nearly two full years we spent on distance learning. I also very much loved the fact that most items had a Google Docs option that made sharing with students easy via Google Classroom and thus saved me a LOT of paper.
