Frequently Asked Questions

Thanks for checking out both options! It’s really up to your own personal preference.

Digital downloads: In the Shop Units section, you can buy any unit as a one-time purchase. You download a zip folder with every PowerPoint, interactive notebook, worksheet, and resource for that unit, plus the daily lesson plans as PDFs. Everything comes organized in one place, which you can keep on your computer or a USB forever, and you can always download any future updates to it.

Membership: With a membership, you get access to all the same resources for every unit, plus the lesson plans online with links to videos, Google Docs, and more. The online lessons are updated more often, and you download each resource individually as you need it. As long as you keep your membership, you have access to everything! Should you cancel, you keep any files you downloaded, but lose log-in access to the online lessons and links.

If you only need a unit or two, downloads are usually the way to go. If you’re teaching a full course, the membership gives you the most for your money.

You’ll still find many of my individual resources on Teachers Pay Teachers, but my full unit bundles and curricula now live here on my site, usually at a lower price.

After entering your info, you will receive a log-in and password for the site.  You’ll then gain access to the Dashboard where you can start going through all your new resources! You'll immediately gain access to every unit in the curriculum.

Yes! I can definitely accept school POs.  If you are interested in getting a quote for a school PO, please email me ([email protected]) with 1) which curriculum you are interested in 2) how long you like the subscription for (please note that there is a 6-month subscription minimum for POs), and 3) how many teachers will need accounts. I'll get back to you quickly with a Quote that you can use to get a PO approved. I can provide a W9 form as well if you need that for us to become an approved vendor.

Yes! After you sign up for one curriculum, go to the Course page for it and at the top of the page you will see a link and big red button for "Discounted Add-On Subscriptions". Each additional curriculum you add is only $20/month! You can also save 20% off an annual purchase as well.

Unfortunately, due to the digital nature of these resources there are no refunds. Please check out my reviews on Facebook, look at all of my resources on TpT, go through the feedback, and look at previews of various files. I have over 30,000 perfect ratings for social studies resources!

These Complete Curriculum packages include ALL of my favorite activities across engaging, in-depth units. I am positive that you'll find many resources that will benefit your classes.

If you choose the subscription, your credit card will be charged the monthly rate when you sign up and then on that same date each month while you have the curriculum package. That monthly charge gets you the full access to all these great lesson plans as long as you’re a member!

If you select the annual plan, you will be charged that full amount. After 365 days, your plan will auto-renew for the next year. Be sure to set it to cancel at any point during the year if you do not want it to renew.

New credit card? No problem! To change your payment method, click on the head logo/avatar on the top right of the screen when you are logged in. Then Click on settings. Next click on "Billing Info" on the top right of the screen. You can change your card info here.

Yes, of course. I’ll hate to see you go, but I understand that you might be assigned a new prep or just decide that you don’t need these resources anymore.

If you used a credit card, you can cancel by clicking on the head logo/avatar on the top right of the screen when you are logged in. Click on settings and then Billing Info. There you will see your active subscriptions. Next to it are 3 dots, click there and you can cancel your subscription out at any time. Here is a short video tutorial on how to cancel.

Unfortunately, no I can't just switch you from World History, for example, to US History in the middle of your subscription.

If you do change subjects, however, it is easy to cancel out your current subscription and add the new one. Just go into your account settings and cancel out your current curriculum. Then go to the purchases page and select the new curriculum you want to add. It's as simple as when you added your first curriculum!

These resources work best for students in grades 7-10. Of course, students vary quite a bit across the nation and within schools. I recommend you download the free resources and see how those would work with your students. They are a great representation of each curriculum as a whole.

It's also easy to modify the resources with the included Google Docs and variety of options for each lesson. This makes it easy to make things a little more advanced or simple depending on the group you are teaching.

These daily lessons are structured on a block schedule that meets every other day. So, a 7-day unit actually covers 14 school days. However, these can be easily modified to spread each lesson plan over 2 days if you teach in a school that has class every day for 45 minutes (or a similar schedule).

You can download FREE pacing guides that show every lesson in each curriculum here:

• US History Pacing Guide
• World History Pacing Guide
• Civics Pacing Guide
• World Geography Pacing Guide

Yes to both! I originally developed my materials based on the Virginia Standards of Learning. These are rich, highly developed standards for each course. After I began sharing my materials on TpT, I researched and aligned the curriculum to other state standards like the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), California's History & Social Science content standards, and others.

In addition, all of the lessons are developed based on research-based instructional strategies. In particular, Pooja Agarwal and Patrice Bain's book, Powerful Teaching: Unleash the Science of Learning. This is a fantastic book by a cognitive scientist and a veteran classroom teacher filled with evidence-based classroom recommendations that can be implemented without additional prep time or grading.

I’m happy to help with any resource included in the curriculum! Please don’t hesitate to reach out through Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. I definitely understand that some resources might pose questions or there could be a change you’d like to see.

Once you join Students History, there is also a Community page within the site. This is a great place to ask questions and connect with other teachers using the same materials and.

I can also be reached through email at [email protected]. I want to make sure all my resources are the best they can be, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
