Join me at Present Company Public House - Washington DC's oldest firehouse (built in 1862) for an evening of free drinks, tasty snacks, and great company!
Date: Saturday, December 6th
Time: 5-7pm
Location:Â Address: 438 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001
About: This was the first firehouse of the Metropolitan Hook and Ladder Company. Built in 1862, the firehouse accommodated horses with heavy equipment. Engines from No. 6 responded to some of the city's earliest fires, such as the Smithsonian Institution Castle (1865) and the U.S. Patent Office (1877).
The firehouse operated for 95 years before its decommission in 1974. Present Company Public House opened in 2019 and is known for its neighborhood-friendly vibe, craft beer, and gastropub fare.
We will be in the upstairs event space where you can still see the spot in which the old fire pole was located!
Important Note: Space this year is extremely limited due to the size of the private room. Completing this form does not guarantee you a ticket. You will receive an email and text message confirmation prior to the event with an entry ticket.
